An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for the Badger Trust at this crucial stage in its development.
We are investing in our staff roles at this crucial time for the welfare and future of badgers to ensure that we are optimally placed to further their interests. The Operations and Strategy Director is a key new role who will work alongside our current staff to manage the strategic, operational and financial aspects of the Trust. The successful candidate will need a sound understanding of all aspects of operational, fundraising, financial management and governance of a small organisation. The post-holder will take the lead on the planning and strategic oversight of the Trust, working closely with the Board of Trustees and CEO, and in the implementation and monitoring of its business plan. They will have oversight of the Trust’s finances and budgets and will be responsible for the day to day running of the charity. They will also have oversight of fundraising in-line with annual targets set by the Board. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have exceptional organisational and management skills as well as significant experience in managing staff. We are looking for someone with a mature approach, strong interpersonal skills and who is excited by the prospect of taking our charity forward. We are a small, friendly team and need someone with a hands-on approach.
