Dominic Dyer CEO Badger Trust said:

"I am very pleased to be able to speak again at the Birmingham Wildlife Festival on Saturday 16th June

Britain is often called a nation of animal lovers and we are most definitely at the heart of the global wildlife protection and animal welfare campaign movement, with major protests for the protection of badgers, foxes, birds of prey, dogs, elephants, dolphins and lions regularly taking place in towns and cities across the country.

The Birmingham Wildlife Festival is a unique opportunity to bring the charities and the caring compassionate people behind these campaigns together at the heart of the UK's second largest city. The Badger Trust is proud to sponsor this event which not only celebrates our wonderful wildlife but also sends a clear message to our politicians and policy makers that our natural world which brings so many benefits to society, must be protected for the future."

Nigel Tolley event organiser and compère said:

Birmingham Wildlife Festival continues to grow in size and influence. We are a campaigning event raising the profile of Britain’s ever increasingly persecuted wildlife. It will be a day full of activity suitable for young and old alike with speakers, music, food and dance, ethical traders and animal charities. All monies we raise are redistributed to animal campaigns around the United Kingdom.

The family friendly festival starts at 10am and finishes at 5pm and will be situated in Victoria Square in Birmingham City Centre. There will be something for everyone who loves animals and wildlife in general.
